Hidden in the lush jungle just outside Ubud, Ulaman is one of the most breathtaking eco-luxury resorts we’ve ever seen in Bali.

    🎁 A Thoughtful Surprise


    I had no idea where we were going until we reached the gates. As soon as we entered, I was speechless about bamboo domes, jungle views, and the peaceful sound of running water all around us. The team at Ulaman welcomed us with big smiles. They made us feel special from the very first moment.

    🏛️ Architecture that Tells a Story


    We joined a short tour with one of the staff members who walked us around the property. Every corner of Ulaman is built with intention. Here’s what we learned:


  1. Built in 2020, the resort was created by founder Dino Magnatta, who teamed up with Charlie Hearn and his team at Inspiral Architecture.
  2. The interiors and lighting design were done by Prima Design.
  3. The entire concept follows a deep respect for nature and sustainability.
  4. The walls are made from rammed earth, using soil and sand from the land itself.
  5. The structures are crafted from locally sourced bamboo, stone, and recycled wood.
  6. Curved bamboo domes, green roofs, and tree-trunk centerpieces blend perfectly with the jungle.

    📸 Creating Content in Paradise


    We didn’t swim. Our goal was to explore, enjoy lunch, and shoot content. And honestly, every corner was camera-ready. The bamboo curves, the textures, the jungle backdrops… it was the perfect place to capture emotional, cinematic visuals.


    We took photos under the giant domes, beside the river, and around the beautiful walkways. The whole vibe of the place inspired us creatively it’s not just a resort, it’s a full experience for anyone who loves aesthetics and storytelling.

    🍽️ Lunch at E.A.R.T.H Restaurant


    The $25 day pass included lunch credit, which we used at E.A.R.T.H Restaurant, the main dining area inside one of the bamboo domes.

    15. Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully served. The atmosphere was calm and intimate, with soft jungle sounds in the background and open-air views of the surrounding greenery.


    It was one of those meals where time slows down and you just enjoy being present.
